'Linesville’ was found as a witch’s broom in a Thuja occidentallis at a cemetery near Linesville, PA by Joe Stupka. Joe later sold the rights to this plant to James Zampini of Lake County Nursery where it received the trade name of Mr Bowling Ball®. Mr Bowling Ball® is dense compact arborvitae with a round shape. The dense lacy foliage creates an almost solid appearance. Mr Bowling Ball® makes an irresistible evergreen bowling ball shape in the landscape and  garden that you will love. Mr Bowling Ball® may reach 3-4 ft in height and width in 10 years. Mr Bowling Ball® has also been known under the name ‘Bobozam’.
